I use this activity early in the year to start practicing graphing. We do some notes over how to do a good graph and then they have to complete the graphs. Many will forget to do some of the major things, like put numbers on the graph, but it is a great starting point. Before I grade them, I give them a chance to peer review papers and edit their work. Then, I grade the graphs. It is an easy way (for me) for them to refresh their memories, learn my expectations for graphs, and reinforce my expectations when we do activities. The set up is super easy because all you need is a big bag of cereal.
