These notes were written to go along with the nearpod titled “Phases of Meiosis” by Nicole Nitschke. I really like her nearpod, it has a variety of activities for the students as they go through. It works really well as a self-paced lesson, which I just love for new material. These self-paced lessons are great for students that might take a little longer taking notes or processing material. The fill-in-the-blank style also works well for some of my “hard copy of notes” students. Of course, be mindful of individual students and their needs. I had a student recently that would work really hard and go through and write everything down and put it in her notebook; then, I’d give her a filled copy because she couldn’t always read her handwriting.
